The idea is to create a physical window that simulates the light field of looking into a really far away planet from an spaceship

This idea can be simulated in VR to see how the depth would feel.

Physical implementation

The plan for the first* physical prototype consist in multiple transparent A4 papers stack on top of each other with circular holes printed in it.

The first physical prototype were two pieces of paper with holes in them.

210mm x 295mm x 0.1mm

210mm x 295mm x 0.1mm

We can print in this paper with a normal printer.

A normal printer has a resolution of around 300-720 DPI.

Testing needs to be done to find the smallest size of hole possible.

I need to simulate this programatically.

We need to find the smallest dot possible to print in a paper.

Then we need to calculate the desired angular size.
