A mobile app focused on simulating the feeling of sending and receiving letters. It should achieve that trough time limitations and a compelling UI.

Experience

You enter and you can either, write a new letter, read a new letter, or respond to an old letter.

If you write a new letter, that letter get’s send to someone random (the next person to read a new letter) but that letter takes some time to arrive (a few hours).

If you read a new letter, you get a letter from someone new and you become pen pals.

You can reply to the letters you’ve received from pen pals, these letters take time to get to your pen pal, creating a sense of importance in each letter, you can also send only one letter every so often so you must write letters with meaning.

Must have features

• Mobile based app.
• List of pen pals.
• You give your pen pals a custom name.
• You can delete pen pals.
• You can add a friend as a pen pal with an invite link (Something like Sky invite links).
• Time delay in letters.
• Option to cancel a delivery.
• Report options.

Optional features

• Toggle images with a pen pal so you can share pics. This would ruin a bit of the anonymity.
• Stamps, free and paid stamps to put on your letters.
• Envelopes, free and paid envelopes to send your letters.
• Drawing, you could use hand drawing in your letters / envelopes.
